CURRENTLY HIRING FOR:

Elite ABA Services is looking to hire a Behavior Technician. This role would be 40 hours a week (35 on-site at a school district during the morning/day and 5 hours admin that can be completed remotely). The position would be with 1 child (first grader), and you would be 1:1 working with them. The BCBA will help you as you transition. Pay is $20-$25/hour based on experience. We offer free RBT training and certification in our company- gain experience, free education/training, and we can offer supervision for those looking to become a licensed BCBA.

PEAK and other methods are taught, and used heavily in our agency. President Brandon May is engaged in ongoing research with Mark Dixon, creator of PEAK, and has first hand experience in this new innovative approach.

Dr. Brandon May, President and CEO of Elite ABA Services, works at Washington University under John Constantino, heading the ABA department and Children's Hospital in St. Louis. He also works with Mark Dixon who is the author of the PEAK assessment and curricula. Brandon also has ongoing collaborations with doctors/agencies in ABA across the US to make sure the agency stays updated and ahead of the curve. He has many publications, presented at many conferences, and has been interviewed for podcasts/radio stations. He has personal relationships with many of the ABA Agencies in St. Louis and surrounding areas and has presented at MOABA, ABAI, Children's Hospital, and The Down Syndrome Association. Brandon is also a member of the Behavior Support Review Committed through the Department of Mental Health. This committee reviews high-needs behavior plans and drives state policy development for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR BEHAVIOR ANALYST

REPORTS TO: President of Elite ABA Services (Please see our website- Eliteaba.com)

GENERAL SUMMARY: The Behavior Analyst:

  • Writes efficient and effective Behavior Plans in a time-efficient manner and updates/modify them as needed.

  • Writes daily session logs, monthly case notes, and updates as needed via Theranest, the company's online portal.

  • Gets a parent/client guardian's signature after each session.

  • Creates data sheets on which to record behaviors specific to each client.

  • Reviews, graphs, and analyzes all behavioral data regularly.

  • Excellent communication skills are a must for parent/client-BCBA relationships as well as communication between other employees and the Director.

  • Positive Attitude and Influence, we work hard to create a supportive, positive environment for our clients as well as for our employees.

  • Completes functional behavior assessments as needed

  • Collaborates and Communicates with the President and Director to make certain that behavior plans are being followed properly

  • Consults with Implementers to assure behavior plans are being followed properly and data is being recorded accurately

  • Prepares reports to review with President and keep parents updated on the growth of clients.

  • Confers with the President and Implementers prior to Individual Education Plan (IEP) staffing meetings or re-evaluations to review behavior data

  • Addresses areas of concern with staff and provides feedback and coaching when applicable on behavior plans

  • Ability to provide behavioral training to employees, school districts, parents/clients, and other agencies.

  • Maintains supervision and safety of all clients

  • Completes other duties as assigned by the President and Director.

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES REQUIRED:

The employee should demonstrate the philosophy and values of Elite ABA Services, adhering strictly to the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and Code of Ethics, while giving leadership and innovation in the education field. A Bachelor’s Degree is required for this position, as well as fieldwork in Applied Behavior Analysis and Behavior Consultation. Strongly prefer BCBA certification but would consider the right candidate working toward certification.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Must have a working vehicle and proof of insurance. Must be able to pass a background check and have excellent references.
